Duravit and VOK DAMS: Intercultural Competence

The Duravit Group – global player in bathroom design – is on course for growth, and especially its Chinese market segment is growing above average. A good enough reason to utilize the occasion of the ISH Frankfurt, the leading trade fair for water and energy, and to invite important Chinese specialist dealers and retailers for sanitary supplies to a National Distributor Conference in the picturesque Black Forest, where the headquarters of the 200-year-old and well-established company are based.

In exchange with Duravit employees the 80 guests from China gained intense insights into the cultural roots and the dynamic development of the bathroom manufacturer.

In addition to a Black Forest adventure tour the conference focused on content-related work. At the Duravit Design Center guests could, furthermore, experience the whole scope of new products: innovations with a noticeable added value and the highest standards in quality, design and technology.

A project, for which Duravit brought on board the intercultural competence of VOK DAMS, agency for events and live-marketing and entrusted the VOK DAMS Shanghai office with this assignment.
